Jour 51 / Day 51 - Lake O'Hara / Opabin Lake Circuit
Il est difficile d'atteindre le lac O'Hara: la route est fermee au public. Cependant il y a des navettes qu'il s'agit de reserver jusqu'a 3 mois a l'avance. Chaque jour 6 billets pour le lendemain sont mis en vente par telephone... juste impossible la ligne est tout le temps occupee! Par consequent, nous marchons les 11km jusqu'au lac.
Hard to reach Lake O'Hara, shuttle tickets should be booked up to three month in advance and 6 tickets are sold on the phone 24hours in advance... just impossible to get 2 of these as the line is always busy. Consequently we hike the 11km to the Lake.
Depuis cet endroit magnifique, nous faisons une boucle pour aller diner devant le glacier d'Opabin.
From the lake we hike the Opabin Lake Loop to have lunch in front of the Opabin Glacier.
Il fait tellement beau lorsque nous retournons au lac O'Hara que nous decidons de prendre la derniere navette a 18h30 (premier arrive, premier servis... et quand il n'y a plus de place... on descend a pied... heureusement ce n'etait pas notre cas).
At 4.30pm after having hiked down to Lake O'Hara, it is so nice and warm that we decide to get on the last shuttle of the day (at 6.30pm... on a first come, first served basis).
