Jour 23 / Day 23 - Wrangell Island / North Wrangell High Country Trail

Comme la journee s'annonce nuageuse mais sans pluie nous partons marcher... North Wrangell High Country Shelter. La piste est faite tout en bois et heureusement car le terrain est plein d'eau (probablement du a la fonte des neiges). La piste fait 3 miles et il y a environ 3000 marches a monter pour arriver au sommet. (Sandrine compte 653 marches en moins de 15 min de descente (sur 2 heures en tout) ... et elle n'a pas le courage de continuer)
As the weather is cloudy but dry we go for a hike... North Wrangell High Country Shelter. It is a a 3-mile trail with about 3000 stairs to go to the top of the hill! Otherwise it is impossible to get to the top because it is so soaked (probably due to the snow that is melting all around). It has a 1600 feet of elevation.
